Timeline of the Holt

0000_Palace crashes on the alien world of Two Moons. Barbaric humans greet them with anger and fear. Many of the newcomers are slaughtered, those that survive scatter.
0005_Four High Ones, one injured, return to the area of the palace and hide in a small cave. The injured High One tries to return to the palace and is killed by the humans.
0010_The remaining three High Ones begin to wander.
0155_Ten other High Ones, along with a small group of other elves, several trolls, and a preserver encounter the three wandering High Ones.
0160_The small group roams for a few centuries before they finally settle in a wooded forest near the foothills of snow covered mountains.
0700_Barlok, one of the high Ones, takes leadership of the small group.
0750_The small band of elves, lead by Barlok, become known as The Treebenders.
0845_High One Tarik vanishes and is assumed dead.
0895_Barlok recognizes the High One Venta.
0897_Tidas,son of Venta and Barlok, is born.
0950_A young Tidas discovers OneWing, an injured preserver, in the forest.
1000_Barlok and Venta recognize again.

1002_Keish, daughter of Venta and Barlok is born.
1050_Recognition comes to Barlok and Venta for the third time.
1052_Second son Tork is born to Venta and Barlok..
1100_Tidas begins to show signs of strong magic use.
1185_Keish is killed by strange looking trolls.
1267_Tharkun born.
1288_Tharkun discovers his metalshaping ability and creates many of the weapons and jewelry for the holt.
1500_Strange weather begins. The summer months become shorter and the winter months become longer.
1530_First signs of humans are found higher up in the mountains when a human female is found frozen to death.
1600_Humans begin to populate the area. The Treebenders migrate deeper into the forest.
1627_Tharkun discovers his rockshaping ability.
1781_Galteiria is born at New Palace.
1834_Chantel born.
1885_The Treebenders encounter other wanderers: two High Ones and three youths.
2000_The Treebenders are attacked by a small group of human hunters. Several elves and humans are killed.
2159_Humans are coming closer and closer  to The Treebender’s Holt. The elves decide to migrate deeper into the forest and eventually to lands outside the forest.
2767_Summerbreeze born.
2800_Summerbreeze discovers his healing abilities.

2899_Galteiria gives birth to Lura at New Palace. (Father unknown)
3000_A young Raven leaves his birth holt, taking with him a few followers.
3009_Raven discovers his healing powers but decides to keep it a secret.
3200_The Treebenders continue to migrate. Two youths Jolon and Secha Recognize.
3202_Son Tieg is born to Secha and Jolon.
3225_The Treebenders migration has brought them to vast grassland. A short time later, they are attacked by sabertooth cats. A battle is fought and many die. Those among the dead are: Barlok, Venta, Tork, Mista, Jolon, and one of the trolls, Mort. Tidas takes over as leader of The Treebenders.
3227_Moondove born. (Parents killed)  Islandecho born.
3230_Secha is struck by a strange sickness and dies.
3340_The Treebenders settle near a great lake located near the foothills of canyon mountains. Several Rocognitions and births occur during this time.
3500_Merle born to Galteiria at New Palace. (Her Father was kept a secret by Galteiria)
3978_Shinebright is born to Laneah and Silver
4000_The wanderers Temon and Sebree encounter Raven and his group after surviving a total massacre of their holt.
4250_Eight wanderers join the Treebender tribe.
4251_Teig Recognizes Fon, one of the eight wanderers.
4250_Shinebright joins the Treebender Tribe
4253_Kaja, son of Teig and Fon, born.
4500_Tidas discovers his shapechanging abilities.
5000_Raven and his young followers discover a large breed of horse they call high backs in the Canyon Mountains.
5150_Raven and his group follow the high backs as they migrate to the vast grassland.

5153_Raven is thrown from the back of the largest high back ever encountered  and is injured. Tidas discovers the injured Raven and takes him back to the lake dwelling to be healed. Later, Raven tells Tidas that he should have let him die, which leaves Tidas puzzled. Raven’s holt answers a sending from Raven telling them of his whereabouts.
5500_The two holts join. Three of the trolls disappear.
5800_Tidas and Sebree lovemate.
6000_The elves encounter the worst whitecold season they can remember. The lake freezes so solid that it prevents them from getting to their supply of fresh fish they feed on. Combined with Tidas’ shapechanging abilities and Raven’s hunting skills, they provide enough food for the holts and get them through the winter.
6069_Polestar born.
6350_Skyfire storms have set ablaze the dry grasslands, killing off most of the vegetation and animals  that live off it. The three trolls return.
6352_Food has become very scarce. Raven convinces the holts to leave the settlement. He tells them of a lush green rainforest located on the other side of the Canyon Mountains.
6353_The holts leave the lake settlement. Three of Raven’s tribemates and one of Tidas’ decide to stay near the lake, ignoring Tidas and Raven’s pleas to go with them.
6355_The High One Teri falls to his death after slipping and falling from a rocky cliff ledge.
6358_The holts discover  a river higher up the mountains.
6383_Softfire born.

6400_The holts  discover the rainforest.
6430_Signs of elfin magic in the area are discovered.
6500_An elfin infant and a preserver are found cocooned together near the base of several trees. Sebree takes the infant she names Sandcrest in as her own.
6520_The skeleton of a huge flying bird is discovered in the forest.
6570_Falconcry born.
6600_The Towers and vast Deep are discovered. The elves learn that a group of gliders lived in the Towers centuries ago. Two preservers are discovered hiding in small catacombs higher up The Towers’ walls. The holts make their dwellings in and near The Towers.
6700_High One Vost Recognizes High One Lork.
6702_Daughter Koon born to Lork and Vost.
6703_Koon dies and Lork jumps from the Towers’ waterfall with the baby in her arms. Several days later, Vost follows his lifemate’s  footsteps to the edge of the waterfall and jumps. The holts call the waterfall Vost’s Tears.
6800_A group of peaceful humans settle near the great lake.
7000_Many of the elves from Tidas’ tribe have discovered a love for the sea and have chosen to become like the creatures of the sea. From Tidas and a few other magic users comes the first wavedancers (mer-elves).
7010_Sebree gives OneWing fins.
7020_Groundquakes hit the area, damaging one of The Towers.
7100_Kaja disappears.

7200_Raven tries to take leadership of both holts. Raven and Tidas have a battle of wills. Raven leaves. The Treebenders and a few of Raven’s tribemates leave The Towers and cross a landbridge to several islands. A short time later, Raven returns and banishes the preservers from The Towers.
7295_Shaft (age 3)  and tribe come to the islands via landbridge.
7300_Cera, the last surviving High One, dies. Groundquakes occur again destroying the landbridge that connected the larger of the islands to the mainland.
7350_During a hunting trip to the grasslands to capture more high backs, Rockshaper Temon is captured by mountain trolls. Sebree never speaks again after that and leaves The Towers to join Tidas.
7355_First Festival of the Tide is celebrated.
7388_Shaft and Brownbuck go hunting for Spiralhorns. While stalking a Spiralhorn, Shaft and Brownbuck get to close to a ravine’s edge and fall in, out of the reach of their tribemates. Chittersweet  puts both of them in wrapstuff and vows to guard them.
7396_Swirl born to Tanora and Soran.
7400_Titan is born, his mother Kosa dies during childbirth. Titan’s father is an unnamed member of Raven’s holt. Tidas adopts Titan as his own son.
7476_Shark born.

7500_Humans attack and kill a small group of Ocean’s Edge elves as they fish for clearfish that float near the water’s surface.
7576_Nighteye (aka Matayus) born.
7601_Certain members of both holts begin to mingle with one another. Old wounds between Tidas and Raven slowly begin to heal.
7620_ Tidas and Prinque, one of Raven’s tribemates, Recognize.
7622_Ackqueous, a son, born to Prinque and Tidas.
7629_Ackqueous leaves The Towers to live with his father Tidas.
7630_Raven bonds with Sly.
7749_Branch born to Galebreak.
7754_Kelphand born.
7800_Sandcrest and Ackqueous are caught in the middle of a hurricane. Sandcrest is lost at sea.
7850_Sebree disappears.
7865_Seastar born.
7870_Seastar’s father dies in a manytooth attack.
7875_Chantel and TBD (Wolfrider)  recognize and become lifemates.
7877_Vaun (Earthbleed) is born to Chantel.
7886_Deerfly born.
7921_Riptide born to Aera and Rock.
7969_Aquastar born.
7989_Taeza is born. (Parents Open)
7991_Pontice born.
7996_Ceann, sister of Riptide, born to Aera and Rock.
8000_Groundquakes return to the area, further damaging the already damaged Tower to the point of requiring evacuation. Days later, the inside dwelling collapses within.
8014_Juvel born to kelphand.
8016_Derro born.
8022_Drifter born.
8026_Juvel discovers his soul name.
8027_Pelicanreef born.

8031_Aera and Rock killed by manytooths. Riptide takes full responsibility of his sister, Ceann.
8040_Terrael born.
8043_Trio born to Nenet and Merkurieff.
8050_Sebree returns with a young elf (Starwave).
8068_Feverdream and Fireroot born.
8072_SoulReaver born to Galebreak and Raven.
8073_Moongloss born.
8075_Dreamweaver born to Prinque and Lord Tidas.
8090_Kelphand gains the small lap cat Pon as a pet.
8091_Merle arrives at the ocean’s Edge after surviving the sinking of a human ship she was on. Mist Fall Holt is discovered about 50 miles off the coast of The Oceans Edge. Tidas and The Ocean Dwellers answer a cry for help. There is a battle between the humans of Mist Fall holt and those that aid the holt from The Oceans Edge. Many are left dead. Those among the dead are:  Rainshadow, Shadowfire, Silentrain, SoulSearcher, Tearsong, Terrael and Y’uri. (Others to be determined) Kaja is discovered living with the elves of Mist Fall, he doesn’t remember anything about his past and life with Tidas and the Ocean Dwellers. Humans come to the area of The Towers to steal high backs. A High One is discovered onboard the humans ship, later the High One turns out to be the once shapechanged Surefoot.  Merle shapechanges into a human to also aid in the rescue of Surefoot.
8093_Thunder and Quiver recognize. Birchmist dies of old age. Vaun and Oakpaw  (Birchmist’s cub) leave to go talk to his mother (Chantel) and instead finds Moondove living with peaceful humans. She goes with him to see Chantel. Vaun continues on his quest and is found by Chittersweet who shows him where Shaft and Brownbuck are hidden. He nurses her and Brownbuck back to good health and they travel together looking for her tribe.
8094_Juvel bonds with Nuna. Merle bonds with Blackfrost (one of Birchmist’s cubs)

8095_Temon is killed by his mountain troll captors. His lifemate, Vialle, daughter Greysky, and adopted son Silverbow escape from the troll warren and are discovered by Tharkun. They live with the Tower elves for a short time before leaving to join Tidas and his group. Silverbow stays with Ravens group. DreamFlight is born to Thunder and Quiver. Juvel discovers his gliding ability. Raven bonds with Jester.  Vaun, Shaft, and bonds return to the Tower Holt. Vaun brings FireIce, the biggest High Back  stallion the elves have seen. Vaun and Merle become lovemates.
8096_Wanderers Frostflower and Fleetfoot arrive at The Towers. Raven and Frostflower recognize. Ceann and Eyes Like Jade become lovemates.
8097_Ivorywolf finds Oceans Edge. Before entering she abducts Ceann, Riptide and Skyturn, and kills Riptide. She also manages to kill a group of local humans and encounters a playful male elf to enjoy the kill with. (“interlude” to be determined).
8098_Son, Cove is born to Frostflower and Raven.
8099_Sabelquill, Jaegertalon, and Rivereagle arrive in Ocean’s Edge with mixed receptions by the natives (“How Not to Make Friends” Issue #12). Sabelquill, Jaegertalon, and Rivereagle go hunting and decide Stealth’s horse looks tasty. The attempt winds up with Rivereagle on a wild ride on the horse’s back crashing through the holt (“How Not to Make Friends” Part Two Issue #13).
8100_Tidas bonds with Current, a white whale.
8103 _More humans have arrived near the Oceans Edge. Darkwater and Rainfeather  wash up on the shore of two separate islands after surviving the sinking of a human ship they were on. Nenet disappears. The Troll Grass gives birth. (baby TBD) Crane, once a member of the original group of gliders returns with a sad history of those that once called the Towers, home. He talks about coming from a place called the cavern of sleeping souls. (Location TBD) Crane decides to make his new home with Tidas and the Ocean Dwellers.


8105_Year of Storms harsh weather and a tsunami sweep thought the Holts. Many are killed or missing

8110_(Present year for new Roleplay) The Holts have been plagued by one disaster after another. First the Humans in kidnapping many elves and young ones (Contact Separation Comic) and then the Storms and unbeknown to the elves an Earthquake out to sea that caused a Tsunami to sweep into the lower areas. New tunnels opened up in the towers due to some after shock quakes but no real damage was done to the the towers themselves.

Many elves are missing presumably swept out to sea. Can the Holts regroup? Who is still alive? Where are the Chiefs of the two tribes? It has been four and one years since the year of storms.

Characters Mentioned in the Timeline before present day are simply there to fill the Timeline as a reference of events. They are not to be used in any new stories as their fates are not determined and will simply be considered 'Missing in action' if not stated as deceased.
